Cutting-edge technologies at the service of food production

The farms developed by ÉAU incorporate the latest technologies available on the market while maintaining a human-centered approach. The technologies used are selected by our experts to develop environmentally friendly systems that meet the needs of individuals and communities. The technologies we use allow us to produce nutritious and delicious food.

A diversified and healthy production

Technical expertise to optimize resources

The proper functioning of a commercial aquaponics system relies on the management of water flow, specifically the mineralization of fish effluents. Furthermore, ÉAU comprises a multidisciplinary team that ensures the research and proper application of technologies. This team possesses technical expertise in horticulture, mineralization, and aquaculture.
Horticulture_ÉAU

High-energy-efficiency LED (Light Emitting Diode) lighting systems allow for optimal plant development. ÉAU collaborates with Quebec manufacturers and conducts tests to select the most efficient lighting systems based on the project, the installation, and the type of cultivation: vertical farming in buildings or traditional greenhouse farming.

Tools for the design and operation of aquaponic farms

These technological tools and projects are designed by ÉAU with the fundamental goal of promoting food self-sufficiency for individuals and communities, using aquaponics. The main objective is to maximize the reliability and profitability of aquaponic production, whether on a commercial scale to reduce operational costs and the risk of human error, or on a domestic scale, enabling the production of fresh, healthy, and local food.
